My Time In M'sia

This is my first post :) Have fun reading..

I remembered that day when I was going to leave Townsville and fly off to Malaysia. It was like my dream come true to go back to see my friends after two years. When I touched down, I wanted to scream “I’m home guys”. I was so excited and yet, happy like a boy that entered into a candy shop. I remembered the first thing I did; I was texting/smsing my friends like crazy and I was addicted to my phone. When I finally meet some of my friends, I was so happy. Probably the happiest moment was my I met my three favourite pet sister/sister from another mother. I didn’t have a chance to talk one of my pet sisters because I didn’t have her contact and hence, she just came back from NZ. It was all cool when I got to meet her on the last day before I let the next day. I did some catch-up with my eldest pet sister and the youngest. I spend more time with my eldest pet sister because I had transport to her house and it was easier to get to her house. I also did spend some time with my youngest pet sister by texting her which cost both of us 6 or more dollars in our phone credit and went to the mall near her house with her brother. We went to watch “I Am Legend” and it was awesome. We played pool before that and I suck at it because I haven’t played pool for quite a long time. Most of all, three of us had fun and I haven’t that much fun with both of them.

It was always fun to see my friends again. None of my friends change much. Their personality, attitude, and characteristic are some how still the same but some physically have changed. All of my friends said that I haven’t change abit and that I am still the same old Jason that left two years ago and the one that is standing right in front to them. Except the fact that I have grown taller and bigger size but from personality, attitude, and characteristic wise, I’m still the same old. I took pictures with them and this is a necessary thing to do when I haven’t seen my friends for two years. Most of my friends have just graduated from home schooling or finish their first year in college and some are still in school. Besides meeting my school friends, I took some time out to see my church friends and my friends from other school.

My old church had a renovation done and it looked awesomely cool. It looks so good. I’ve meet my friends from my old youth group, GRYP. I made a bad impression by not wearing long pants because I was bit disorganised. Anyways, it was cool seeing them again and they haven’t changed much except some of them grown taller. One of my friends slapped me in the head and that’s how he greets me after 2 years. I was happy to see him again and some others. All of them said I’ve grown taller but besides that, I had fun there and did some catch up with some of my friends. I had the same feeling when I was there as when I was a GRYPer there. Unfortunately, there was no front seat for me because we sat on the floor. I use to sit at the front sit when I was a GRYPer because it’s just me. It was good that I got to visit my friends from church and meet the new pastor. I made a bad impression on that day.

The reason why I made a bad impression when I went to visit my old youth group is because I didn’t wear long pants to youth. The reason behind it was that I was disorganised. On that day, I came from my friend’s house which I stayed for few days. Before that, I was at my grandma’s house and before that; I was at my uncle’s house. I forgot to pack my jeans and my camera. That’s why I made a bad impression by not wearing long pants and not bring my camera is even worse but I still have fun in youth, grandma’s house, and my friends house. I didn’t get much sleep because I decided not to and partly was because I was woken up by eldest pet sis and my best friend. Anyways, I still had much fun there like going to the cyber cafe twice in a day and until late night, and watching American pie: beta house, which we laugh our heads off. We also went to watch AVP2 but miss half of the movie because we were doing a good deed for someone. Before I went to his house, I was at my grandma house and I had a lazy time there. It was a lazy time because it didn’t had much thing to do there. My grandma was a good cook, so I ate quite a lot and I also like the local delicate seed, which are noodles. In other words, I ate quite a lot when I cam back.

I remember the first Malaysian food I ate when I came back was roti canai which is an Indian food. My uncle bought my family out for dinner. It was so good. From the day I came back to Malaysia, I was eating quite a lot because I missed the food here so much from Malay food to Chinese food and all other kind of other food that you can find in Malaysia. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to try all of them but still it was an eating heaven for me.

Besides eating, I had a lot of fun with my friends like watching movie, going to cyber cafe, or going to the arcade. I have watched five movies. The movies were “Heartbreak Kid”, “Alien vs. Predator 2”, “Codename: The Cleaner”, and finally, my all time favourite, “Alvin and the Chipmunks”. Then, I watch some DVDs e.g. Rush Hour 3, Bee Movie, Hitman, Resident Evil: Extinction, and Ratatouille. I also have watched some movies at my friend’s house e.g. 28 days later, 28 weeks later, Silent Hill, American Pie: Beta House, and many more, cause too many. I was watching it until late night but it was fun.

One of my main purposes for coming back to Malaysia is to go shopping. I did it in the first week and half of the second week. I used up quite a sum of money for shopping, gifts for my friends, and spending money. I have probably said it so many times but I’ll say it again. I had a lot of fun when I was with my friends, my friends from church and my cousins, that I haven’t seen for quite some time.

I owe to my friends and cousins that I had so much fun and joy when I was back at home. I was very happy to meet my friends after two years even though, I’ve miss some of my friend’s graduation and some other stuff but I am just happy to see them again. I won’t trade anything just to see them and have fun with them.
