This is something I have decided to extend.
It is true that feeling will develop.
Some rather keep to themselves but some take the risk.
For those who keep to themselves, they normally find someone else or they just wait. Some of them waited for so long that it hurts so much then that when they decided to take the risk.
For those risk takers, you are putting your emotions on the line and maybe friendship. If you are lucky, then maybe both of you may be friends again. For some risk takers, their reason may be that they just want the other party to know.
Speaking from experience, my ex and me have been best friends until now. Even though, we have gone out twice. The second time it was the real deal but it was at the wrong time. It was at the time when I had to leave. So I had to force myself to break up with her and it broke my heart so much. Well, I told her the truth few months back because she has the right to know. The truth is that only both of us know. :P
If you decide to tell, the outcomes are
The other person is shocked and you get hurt
Or
You guys actually get to go
Both outcomes are extremely good and extremely bad. Good because you found the person you actually love and then, one dump the other after few months. HAHAHAHA!!! If it’s a best friend case, I think it will last longer. Don’t forget this is not some Hollywood Love k? You don’t have one night stand and your love last forever. It takes time and commitment.
Bad because the other part shock and would look at you twice before talking to you.
Anyhow, love and going out is a gamble and the stake is your feeling. If you win, you win big and you should cherish it. If you lose, you lose your friendship for now but things will be fine if both of you can move on.
As for me, I have been in both e.g. 2 bad one, 1 dead one, and waiting for one. So yeah! But I’m still not giving.
One thing to keep in mind when you decide to tell, you must make sure that you know that it is the right time and ask your close friends if you think it is or someone older than you or pray to God.
The other thing if you wanna wait for the right moment, don’t wait for too long if your chance passes then you are done. If you tried to tell the person after that, you will only make things worse.
